Putting on the Festival of the Artisan is a labour of love. It is driven by a passion for giving a platform for great acoustic music, a chance for talent to shine, a spotlight on those rough‘n’ready characters who refuse to toe the line of the mainstream, the rule book and the fashionable

The fact this festival exists - and can continue to exist - is only partly explained by the support of Arts Council England and our sponsors.
