The small print

Your 60-second video doesn't need to be anything fancy. Honest and authentic is what Artisan Music is all about. Just set up your phone or tablet at home. It's the quality of the music we're interested in.

The deadline for entries is 5pm on Friday 19 February 2021. We will announce the three new artists to join the Artisan Club on Wednesday 24 February.

Artists must be available from 10.30am until 4.30pm on Saturday 27 March at Venture Theatre, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, with the live performance 1pm - 3pm. Each artist performing will need about 25 minutes of material.

Artists must be at least 18 years of age.

* Travel costs will be reimbursed, but budget is limited, therefore this opportunity will best suit local artists from the region: Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, West Midlands, or Staffordshire.

Our filmmaker, Kat Hodgkinson, will work with you on your "featured song" video on the day of the festival, with filming taking place pre- and post-live show.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are limited as to how many people we can fit on stage and in the venue, which is why we are seeking solo musicians. We may have space for one duo, so if this applies to your act, please give it a go.

If you do not have access to Facebook or Instagram but would like to be considered for the Artisan Club, please email

While we will take public opinion into account from social shares, selection of which artists to include in the programming will sit entirely with festival organisers.

If you don't get selected to perform, we will showcase as many entries as possible during our livestreams on 26 and 27 March, and across our social channels.
